Cynthia Chatman gathered with her cast and crew, celebrating the people whose performances and craft bring her narrative short films to life.

Films

For Cynthia, filmmaking begins with people, the characters whose lives unfold on screen and the actors who bring them to life. She is drawn to the humor, tension, misunderstandings, and unexpected turns that arise when people come together. Some of her films are playful, others more unsettling, but each offers a glimpse into lives we might recognize, misjudge, or never otherwise meet. Select a film below to learn more and watch.
